Synopsis
The MMA fighter Octavio, known as Octa, is about to have an important wrestling match. The gym he runs with his friend Paul is in financial difficulties. They both hope to earn the money they need with the match. The same day is the birthday of Octa's daughter, who lives with her mother and her new boyfriend. He has promised his daughter that he would come and bring her a cake. Keeping this promise is in danger because the wrestling match is delayed by an hour. On the phone, Octa's mother gives him an ultimatum that he has to be there within 60 minutes, otherwise she will file a petition with the court to give her sole custody. Shortly before he goes into the ring, Octa turns around and makes his way to his daughter. Octa is immediately pursued by several men who want to get him back to the wrestling match, using force if necessary. Octa is able to defend himself and escapes. No matter where he goes, he is found again. During the pursuit, he learns that the fight was rigged. It was planned that Octa would win after round three. The people involved have bet on Octa and are now afraid of losing their money if Octa does not return in time and is disqualified. A friend of Octa finally offers his help and takes Octa with him on his motorbike. When they reach the finish line, however, the betting mafia is already waiting. They have bet 500,000 euros on Octa's victory. Octa manages to escape here too and, after a train ride, flees to a disco. After leaving, he is called by Paul, who confesses to him that he initiated the betting manipulation. Octa notices that Paul has been able to locate him via GPS using his smartwatch the whole time and has told his pursuers this. He now sets off for the animal shelter to bring his daughter a cat as a present. In the meantime, he lures the manipulators, the betting mafia and the police there too, so that the police can take care of it and he can go to his daughter unmolested. He is discovered again at the animal shelter and suffers severe injuries in the fight. He makes it to just outside his daughter's house and sits down on the ground. The daughter recognizes him and they hug each other.
